Today's Complaints

On most mornings, Fark is a part of my daily readings. The fun stories people find from all over the world and the awesome headlines they give them are usually hilarious.

Some of today's articles, were particularly catchy to me, and I felt the need to comment on them.

According to Fox, convicted 1996 Atlanta Olympics bomber Eric Rudolph has been complaining about the conditions at jail.

Suck it up, princess. You committed murder. Be happy all they're doing to you is what's constitutionally allowed. I feel significantly better about the world we live in today when I hear about maggots like you rotting in jail and not liking it.

An Australian Teenager has been arrested for drinking and driving, which hurt his girlfriend. He even pledged to do it again.

If he's pledging to do it again, I think the best thing to do would be to lock him up for life, and castrate him. It'd be for the best.

The American Decency Association (isn't that an oxymoron?) has written an open letter to McDonald's for sponsoring Victoria's Secret's Fashion show.

Shame on McDonald's? Shame on you, Mr. Bill Johnson, for being a whiney, pathetic asshat who's hellbent on 'protecting America's youth' from reality. I'd hate to see any kids you raise grow up to be adults. Poor, poor, sheltered youth.

A woman in Atlanta has to undergo psychiatric evaluation after killing the man that raped her and threatened to do the same to her daughter.

Good. She deserves her daughter back, and absolutely deserves to get to move on with her life. She did the right thing, and frankly, the world needs more people like her who will fight back these scumbags.

A man in the United States has been put away for 25 years for tampering with a prescription to get more oxycontin than he was prescribed to treat chronic back pain after a terrible car accident and a botched back surgery.

A minimum 25 year sentence for prescription tampering for his own use, while Rush Limbaugh, and George W Bush's niece, Noelle Bush have been arrested for prescription tampering and/or having too much oxycontin, they get a slap on the wrist. That's what the United States' legal system gets you: screwed unless you're rich. Don't worry, I'm not disillusioned, I realise the same nonsense happens here too.

A school in London has introduced a program whereby black students who perform well on exams, SATs, etc, get a big party and all sorts of festivities while the kids of other races are completely ignored.

Good job, morons. You've gone too far in the other direction. If you recall, all of the civil rights movements, and racism issues that've existed as long as we've had these issues have been about segregation. Black people just wanted to be treated like people. They didn't want special treatment, they just wanted to be like everybody else. And rightfully so. You've gone in the other direction, treating them nicely, and ignoring the majority, segregating the races, and will begin harbouring contempt in children based on race.

That's all the complaining I'll do for today.
